We are currently recruiting for a front-end interface web designer to join our online media team at Ink Publishing. A fast growing International publishing company with 5 global offices. The successful candidate should have a detailed portfolio showing both strength in design and evidence of in-depth understanding of standards-compliant CSS, candidates should posses the following:

• Experience in Photoshop ­ creating site layouts, working with vector graphics and have experience creating planned human-computer-interface schemas
• In-Depth CSS knowledge ­ standards-compliant style-sheets must be evident in your portfolio, demonstrating an understanding for speed, browser-variation handling and efficient layout.
• A thorough understanding and grounding in Search Engine Optimization strategies at code level
• A solid understanding of human interface and usability guidelines
• Strong knowledge of HTML to implement designs and changes to page templates
• Some understanding of PHP & Javascript would be beneficial to your application
• Due to the close work with our developers, an understanding of the page lifecycle, the nature of interpreted languages and the Asp.Net development model would be beneficial to your application.
